Splicing silicone-coated paper rolls
Silicone-coated paper is used in many processes involving adhesives and double-sided tapes. Because silicone surfaces are difficult to bond, a silicone adhesive may be required.
This application makes it possible to splice two reels, secure the start of a liner, prepare a substrate before slitting or cutting and avoid machine stoppages during reel changes.
- Splice two silicone-coated paper rolls
- Close a roll of silicone-coated liner
- Secure a roll end before conversion
- Splice a silicone-coated substrate on a production line
- Prevent a machine stoppage during a roll change
- Hold a substrate until the next unwinding
- Create a clean join before slitting or cutting
- Prepare a roll before storage or internal shipping
