What is adhesive tape traverse winding?
Traverse winding is a process that involves winding the adhesive tape while gradually offsetting each turn across the width of the spool.
Unlike a conventional roll, whose turns remain stacked, this lateral distribution allows a much greater length to be wound.
The main aim is to obtain a long adhesive spool intended for repetitive or continuous industrial applications.

Depending on the adhesive tape's specifications, a traverse-wound spool can reach 10 000 metres. The maximum length varies according to the material, thickness and width of the product.
For intermediate requirements, some tapes can also be supplied in pancake roll format up to 1 500 metres.
