Label dispensers

A roll adhesive label dispenser is a device that unwinds the backing and presents each label ready to be picked up and then applied. Depending on the model, the dispensing can be manual, semi-automatic, or automatic. These devices are used to facilitate labelling operations in industry, logistics, packaging, and wrapping.

A dispenser generally separates the label from its backing to present it to the operator. An unwinder holds and unwinds the reel, particularly to feed a printer or other equipment. An applicator directly facilitates the placement of the label on a product, packaging, bottle, or container.

A manual dispenser is suitable for low speeds, mobile stations, and occasional applications. An automatic dispenser is more suited for repetitive operations and large volumes. It detects the labels and automatically presents the next one, which reduces handling and speeds up the operator's work.

The choice mainly depends on the width of the labels, the outer diameter of the reel, the inner diameter of the core, and the desired speed. It is also important to consider the transparency of the labels, the possible presence of a counter, the number of rolls used, and the need to automatically recover the liner.

It is therefore important to choose a dispenser suitable for the material, transparency, and spacing of the labels present on the roll.
