Using the MD2-RB & MD4-RB Tabletop Dispensers

The MD2-RB and MD4-RB are designed for the simultaneous dispensing of 2 or 4 single-sided adhesive tapes up to 25 mm wide. Their independent hub system allows the use of multiple rolls in parallel, ideal for packaging, marking, and wrapping stations in industrial environments.

Setting up and loading the reels

Installation is quick:

1. Secure the reel to a table or workbench if necessary.

2. Remove the hubs and install the spools on the 76 mm mandrel.

3. orient each roll for unrolling from the top

4. replace the hubs on their supports

5. bring each end of the ribbon to its respective cutting area

Applying the adhesive tape

Once the coils are correctly installed:

1. grasp the end of the desired ribbon

2. pull it up to the cutting line located opposite the corresponding spool

3. pull the adhesive back against the hardened steel razor blade

4. proceed with the cut with a simple downward motion

The cut is straight, clean and precise, ensuring a smooth and neat job.

Thanks to the independent tracks, the operator can switch between several tapes without interrupting their work.

The reel is ready to operate immediately.
