Applying the adhesive tape
Once the coil is correctly installed:
pull the adhesive forward
allow the system to automatically separate the adhesive strip from its liner
guide the adhesive part towards the cutting area while the liner is rewound onto the rear reel
adjust to the desired length
proceed with the cutting by simply pressing on the guillotine blade
The cut is clean, precise and effortless, even for thick adhesives such as VHB, foam or Velcro.
Setting up and loading the reel
Installation is quick:
place the spool on the 76 mm main hub
Ensure that the unwinding occurs from the top of the reel.
pass the adhesive over the top cylindrical roller
separate the adhesive strip from the liner
guide the adhesive strip towards the cutting area
wind the liner alone onto the lower retrieval reel in a clockwise direction.
The reel is then ready for first use.
