Using the AFB50-SB & AFB50-SB-MS tabletop dispensers

The AFB50-SB and AFB50-SB-MS are designed for dispensing double-sided or single-sided adhesive tapes with liner, featuring automatic separation of the protective film. They are simple to use and perfectly suited for fixed industrial workstations.

Applying the adhesive tape

Once the coil is correctly installed:

1. pull the adhesive forward

2. allow the system to automatically separate the adhesive strip from its liner

3. guide the adhesive part towards the cutting area while the liner is rewound onto the rear reel

4. adjust to the desired length

5. proceed with the cutting by simply pressing the scissor blades

The cut is clean, precise and effortless, even for thick adhesives such as VHB, foam, Velcro or technical fabrics.

Setting up and loading the reel

Installation is quick:

1. place the spool on the 76 mm main hub

2. Ensure that the unwinding occurs from the top of the reel.

3. pass the adhesive over the top cylindrical roller

4. separate the adhesive strip from the liner

5. guide the adhesive strip towards the cutting area

6. Wind the liner alone onto the lower retrieval reel in the intended direction.

The reel is then ready for first use.

Adjusting the brakes and the measurement

To optimize usage:

• Adjust the adjustable brakes if the line unwinds too freely.

• On the MS version, adjust the sliding arm to the desired length.

• check the regularity of the scrolling before mass production

These settings allow for better working stability and good repeatability of cuts.
