Programmable cutting to precise length

The RT7700B is primarily a automatic industrial tape dispenser with programmable cutting, powered by a battery. The cutting length is easily adjusted using the "+" and "-" buttons located on the control panel.

The user can define lengths between 5 and 999 mm, with a maximum tolerance of ± 1 mm, guaranteeing a custom, precise and perfectly repeatable cut, essential for demanding industrial productions, including on mobile or temporary workstations.

Automated or semi-automated distribution

This automatic battery-powered industrial tape dispenser offers two operating modes, allowing it to adapt to all production rates:

Semi-automatic mode

After each cut, the operator triggers the next distribution by pressing the START button. This mode offers an excellent compromise between manual control and speed of execution.

Automatic mode

Thanks to a photoelectric detection cell, the RT7700B automatically dispenses a new piece of tape as soon as the previous one is retrieved. This mode greatly reduces manual handling, improves operator comfort, and significantly increases productivity, even without mains power.

Programmable memory for up to 6 lengths

The RT7700B retains the advanced programming system of the RT range. It allows saving up to 6 different cutting lengths, identified by the letters A to F.

Each program can correspond to a specific length (e.g. A = 10 mm, B = 20 mm, C = 30 mm, etc.), an ideal feature for operators handling several adhesive formats successively, at the same station or while moving.

Intelligent navigation between programs

Two navigation modes are available:

• Manual selection: switching between programs using the selection key

• Sequential Automatic Selection: The user defines the number of pieces to be dispensed for each program; the dispenser then automatically alternates between programs A, B, C, etc., without human intervention.

This feature enables advanced automation of cutting sequences, even in a mobile environment.

Starting up and loading the reel

The RT7700B operates on battery, allowing for standalone use without mains power.

1. Check that the battery is sufficiently charged before use.

2. Turn the device on using the ON / OFF switch located at the rear.

3. Open the retaining flap and install the reel with the sticky side facing down at the outlet.

4. Adjust the width of the rear support according to the thickness of the reel to ensure perfect stability.

5. Insert the ribbon between the drive rollers and close the cover.

6. Press the FWD key to advance the ribbon.

7. Press START to perform the first cut.

The RT7700B automatic reel is then ready for use, including in mobile environments or without an electrical outlet.

Programming cutting lengths

The RT7700B allows you to memorize up to 6 different lengths, ranging from 5 to 999 mm, identified by programs A to F.

Record a length

1. Press SELECT to choose a program (A to F).

2. Adjust the length using the + / – keys (fast scrolling by holding the key).

3. Press SELECT again to confirm and move to the next program.

Operating modes

Semi-automatic mode

1. Check that the blue LED is off (if not, press AUTO / MANU).

2. Select the desired program.

3. Press START for each cut.

This mode offers total control over the distribution of the ribbons, ideal for one-off or variable operations.

Automatic mode

1. Press AUTO / MANU until the blue LED lights up.

2. Select a saved program.

Thanks to the photoelectric detection cell, the RT7700B automatically delivers a new piece after each tape retrieval, without manual intervention.

For automatic program switching, press and hold the AUTO / MANU button: switching from A to B, then C, etc., is done automatically.

Predefine a number of cuts

P-Mode (adhesive tapes)

Allows you to define a precise number of cuts, between 5 and 999 pieces.

1. Select a program (A to F).

2. Press and hold SELECT until LCON is displayed, then scroll down to P.

3. Adjust the number of cuts with + / –.

In automatic mode, the RT7700B moves to the next program when the counter reaches 0.

L-Mode (non-adhesive tapes)

• Automatic continuous cutting mode, without manual retrieval.
• The reel cuts in a loop until the end of the predefined number.
• To stop the cutting, press START.

Using two reels simultaneously

A detachable divider is provided under the base of the RT7700B.

It allows the installation of two reels simultaneously, each up to 24 mm wide, ideal for:

• Two different ribbons (type, color, width)

• Two operators working on a single machine

Maintenance and upkeep

Maintenance of the RT7700B automatic reel must be carried out by a qualified professional.

• Clean the blades with a suitable solvent
