Using the ZCM1000 & ZCM2000 automatic reels

The ZCM1000 and ZCM2000 are designed for the rapid and precise dispensing of adhesive tapes at production, packaging, assembly, and preparation stations. Their automated operation improves the flow of operations while reducing the physical strain of repetitive tasks.

Operating modes

The ZCM1000 and ZCM2000 automatic dispensers offer three operating modes to adapt to all production rates.

Automatic mode

Once the length is programmed, the reel operates autonomously.

1. turn the switch to ON

2. press AUTO

3. Enter the desired length in mm or cm

4. ZCM2000: Select one of the stored lengths

5. adjust the output pressure using the knob

6. retrieve the first strip

7. The following are automatically distributed

Semi-automatic mode

This method allows the ribbon to be distributed on demand.

1. turn the switch to OFF

2. Press AUTO to dispense a strip of the programmed length.

3. Repeat the process with each new cut

Manual mode

Manual mode offers complete freedom in unwinding.

1. Hold down the arrow key to extend the ribbon to the desired length.

2. release

3. Press the cut button to cut

Setting up and loading the reel

Installing the hose reel is simple:

1. plug the reel into a mains socket

2. Install the spool on the designated hub with the unwinding facing upwards.

3. insert the end of the ribbon between the metal drive rollers

4. Press the forward button to advance the tape through the cassette.

5. the reel is ready to be used

Maintenance and cleaning

To ensure optimal lifespan and consistent performance, regular maintenance of the device is recommended.

Maintenance recommendations:

• Clean only with a dry cloth

• Do not use water, detergents, sprays or wipes

• Limit interventions on the blade and electrical components to trained personnel.

• If the blade resists cutting, apply a small amount of silicone oil to the guillotine blade.

• monitor the wear of the silicone discs located behind the cutting unit
