Bottle applicator

A bottle label applicator is a manual or semi-manual device designed to apply adhesive labels to cylindrical containers. The bottle is placed between several rollers and then rotated using a crank. The label is thus applied progressively and evenly to its surface.

The operator installs the label roll, adjusts the rollers according to the diameter of the container, and then positions the bottle on the machine. By turning the crank, the liner is separated from the label and the container rotates on itself. The label is then applied evenly around the bottle.

A manual applicator generally does not rely on an optical sensor to detect the label. Therefore, it can be compatible with opaque or transparent labels, provided that they separate correctly from their liner and meet the accepted dimensions. A test with the actual reel used is still recommended.

It is advisable to provide the diameter, shape and weight of the container as well as the dimensions of the label and the reel.
