It is also important to consider the desired precision, adhesion strength, ease of unrolling, and the quality of removal. Two-tone painting operations or precise finishing may require a roll equipped with fine line adhesive.

Some automotive painting operations include a drying or curing phase at high temperature. The film, adhesive tape, and glue must maintain their integrity throughout the duration of the process. Insufficient resistance can lead to peeling, film deformation, or adhesive residue after removal.
