Double sided polyester transfer grid 220my strong acrylic adhesive

This reinforced adhesive tape enables the transfer of acrylic glue to the surfaces that need to be joined. Its thick, viscous appearance provides an immediate bond that replaces the adhesives and sealants normally used for fixing skirting boards.

Application conditions

•         The surfaces to be bonded must be clean and dust free
•         The ideal application temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C
•         Do not touch the adhesive surfaces of the product during application
•         Apply strong pressure during application for optimum bonding
•         Maximum performance is achieved 24 hours after application at 23 °C

Storage conditions

•         Store this adhesive in a clean, well-ventilated place
•         The ideal storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C
• Under these conditions, the storage time can exceed 12 months

Clean application

Mounting skirting boards and profiles can sometimes be complicated because using glue can cause spillage. This reinforced transfer tape is an alternative to glue-type adhesives – especially neoprene. As such, using this tape avoids the risk of glue stains that are difficult to remove (acetone, etc.) therefore making handling easier.

Gain in efficiency with pre-bonding

This transfer adhesive tape enables fast bonding as there is no waiting time after bonding.

In addition, this tape can be pre-cut and pre-applied to the elements to be assembled, enabling craftsmen to save time during installation.

Safe glue transfer

Neoprene adhesives are toxic, flammable and give off high levels of VOCs. However, they are very popular for joining multi-materials where using screws and nails is not possible.

This double-sided acrylic adhesive does not have the disadvantages of neoprene, as it enables immediate and durable fitting while being:

•         Non-flammable
•         Solvent and phthalate free
•         Low VOC emissions inside the building

This product is healthy and therefore respects the health of workers and occupants of the premises.

Does not affect soft PVC

Neoprene adhesives are strongly discouraged for glueing flexible vinyl flooring (linoleum), as they are too aggressive. The use of acrylic adhesives is therefore increasingly recommended by manufacturers.

Our transfer adhesive is based on acrylic glue and is therefore suitable for use on soft PVC flooring.

PVC strips and profiles can also be attached with this product.

Suitable with many surfaces

Cement and concrete floors

This reinforced double-sided adhesive can be applied to cement and concrete surfaces that have been previously dusted.

•         Surfaced concrete
•         Cement-based screeds
•         Floor screeds

Gypsum-based materials

This product can be used on plaster, plasterboard or plastered walls.

However, the use of a primer is recommended on these porous surfaces.

Wood-based materials

After application of a primer, DJUMBO L1148A enables effective bonding of chipboard, OSB3 and plywood.

Metals and non-absorbent materials

Non-absorbent surfaces and metals can also be bonded with this double-sided adhesive.

Which dispensers are compatible with this tape?

•   T30RAB: manual dispenser with handle. It is very functional, but also robust and durable, and can be used with one hand. The T30R100AB is the version of the T30RAB adapted to the width of the DJUMBO L1148A.
•  DSH100TR manual dispenser: specially designed for cutting double-sided transfer tapes. In addition to separating the adhesive tape and the liner, it has a trigger application system. Its ergonomic handle is compact, handy and light, making it easy to use in an industrial setting. All of these aspects make it a valuable time-saver for operators.
