The TDA-NSLF is an industrial automatic tape dispenser for double-sided high adhesion, acrylic foam and cloth tape such as tear-proof. Designed for cutting to length of repeat adhesive tapes.

Two versions of the TDA-NSLF are available:

TDA080-NSLF: Compatible with rolls from 6 to 80 mm wide
TDA150-NSLF: Compatible with rolls from 6 to 150 mm wide

Like other products in the TDA range, the TDA-NSLF features an automatic dispensing system, offering four modes of operation to meet different operator needs:

- Manual mode:
  This mode gives the user full control over the length of the tape. The operator presses and holds the ADVANCE key to unwind the tape to the desired length, then releases it to stop. To cut the tape, the CUT key must be pressed.
- Semi-automatic mode:
  The user controls the unwinding by pressing the ADVANCE button, but unlike manual mode, the cutting happens automatically once the ADVANCE key is released.
- Automatic mode:
  In this mode, both unwinding and cutting are fully automated. The tape length is programmed using the length selection button, and after each cut, a new strip is automatically dispensed.
- Interval mode:
  This function allows the user to set a time interval between each tape distribution, enabling multi-tasking without constant interaction. For example, tape can be dispensed every 20 seconds.

The TDA-NSLF also features a programmable length cutting system, allowing lengths between 40 mm and 9999 mm with a tolerance of 1 mm. This system is used in automatic and interval modes for consistent cuts.

Additionally, the TDA-NSLF is highly versatile, accommodating rolls between 6 mm and 150 mm in width, with a maximum external diameter of 251 mm. It comes with three 76 mm hubs welded onto a main hub, and it can simultaneously handle three rolls up to 50 mm wide.

Using this industrial dispenser for wide adhesive rolls

After installing the rolls, the operation of the TDA-NSLF will depend on the selected mode.

First, turn the ON / OFF switch to the ON position.

- Manual mode: Press the ADVANCE button to unwind the adhesive roll to the desired length. Once released, press the CUT button to cut the tape.
- Semi-automatic mode: Simply press the ADVANCE button to unwind the tape. The device will automatically cut the tape once the desired length has been dispensed.
- Automatic mode: Program the desired length, and the tape will automatically unwind and cut. A new strip of tape will be dispensed after the previous one is taken.
- Interval mode: Similar to the automatic mode, but with the added ability to set a time interval between each tape distribution. Adjust the knob at the bottom left to set the desired interval.

Setting up and loading the roll

First, connect the power supply to the TDA-NSLF. Detach the hub from its support and place the roll of tape around it, ensuring the tape unwinds from the top. Peel off the end of the adhesive and apply it to the metal drive rollers. Press the ADVANCE button to feed the tape through the dispenser. The device is now ready for use. Select the desired mode and proceed with your first cut.

Maintenance and cleaning

Warning! The electronic tape dispenser must be cleaned and maintained by a professional. Handling certain components, especially the cutting blade, can be hazardous for untrained personnel.

The TDA-NSLF contains electrical wiring and steel parts, so avoid using any liquids during cleaning. Use a dry cloth to clean the unit.

For blade maintenance and to prevent adhesive buildup, regularly apply silicone oil to keep it in optimal condition.
