Description

The SAT 20 HA is a handheld manual dispenser designed for applying double-sided acrylic foam adhesive tapes without removing the protective liner.

It is widely used for products or components that require the liner to be removed at a later stage. This allows another operator or the end user to peel off the liner at the time of use. This manual dispenser is particularly common in the paper and cardboard industry.

It is compatible with tapes up to 20 mm in width and 320 mm in outer diameter.

Two versions are available:

  • SAT 20 LA: for low-adhesion double-sided tapes
  • SAT 20 HA: for high-adhesion double-sided tapes or acrylic foam tapes

For a version equipped with a liner rewinding system, refer to the DSH / DSH TR / DSH Mono models.

Features

The SAT 20 HA handheld dispenser allows for easy and precise application of double-sided or acrylic foam adhesive tapes, flat on a wide range of surfaces. It is especially used in POS (Point of Sale) displays, for tasks such as bonding signage, PVC sheets, paper materials, or assembling cardboard and paper elements.

This dispenser is ideal for applying tapes without a liner removing system (for the range of DSH/DSH TR/DSH Mono), allowing the operator to lay down the tape while keeping the protective liner in place for a later use.

Manufactured in Europe, the SAT20 HA is built from ABS resin and painted metal sheet, giving it excellent durability—perfect for intensive use.

 

The dispenser comes with a guide handle, which can be easily attached to the head using the dedicated mounting point. This handle provides added stability and ensures a straight, consistent tape application.

 

Finally, the SAT20 HA offers a large loading capacity, supporting rolls up to 20 mm in width, 320 mm in outer diameter, and a standard 76 mm core.

Application

Installing the Tape Roll

    1. Place the dispenser flat on a stable surface.
    2. Insert the roll into the white hub (inner core diameter: 76 mm max).
    3. Adjust the brake tension by turning the central screw.
    4. Manually pull a strip of tape and guide it under the guillotine blade, all the way to the rubber roller.
    5. Take the dispenser in hand – it’s ready to use!

 

Applying the Double-Sided Tape

    1. Place the beginning of the tape at the desired spot.
    2. Once the first section is adhered, slide the dispenser along the surface to apply the tape.
    3. Press the trigger to cut the tape.

( The razor-type blade ensures a clean and precise cut. )

 

Using the guide roller (Included)

A guide roller is included with your dispenser. It ensures a straight, even, and consistently aligned application of the tape, maintaining a fixed distance from the edge of your surface.

 

    1. To install it, simply screw it into the designated spot at the front of the dispenser.
    2. Then position the guide roller along the edge of the support and start applying the tape

 

Maintenance and Cleaning

The SAT20 HA requires no heavy maintenance. Its durable design and robust materials ensure long-lasting performance, even in intensive production environments.

Tip: Occasionally check the cutting blade. If adhesive residue builds up, clean it with a cloth soaked in white spirit.
