Double-sided high performance transparent acrylic gel 0.5mm

The special feature of this double-sided acrylic gel type adhesive is that it adheres to a wide variety of surfaces, even so-called LSE (low surface energy) surfaces.

As it is transparent, it is widely used in the POS industry to invisibly attach transparent materials, such as Plexiglas and glass, together.

Application conditions

•         The ideal application temperature is between 15 °C and 30 °C
•         It is recommended to apply this adhesive on a clean and degreased surface
•         Apply this acrylic gel adhesive with strong pressure for optimum adhesion
•         Maximum performance is achieved after 24 hours at 23 °C

Storage conditions

•         Store this double-sided adhesive in a clean and dry place
•         The ideal storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C

The shelf life is at least 2 years under these conditions

A transparent gel

This adhesive consists of 100% transparent acrylic glue. This enables invisible bonding, even on the edge of surfaces.

Waterproofing

Acrylic tapes are used both for bonding and for making watertight joints.

High mechanical strength

This adhesive is both tear and shear resistant. In many cases, it replaces the use of liquid adhesives or mechanical mounting (rivets, screws) and avoids the need for metal welding. In metalwork, this is a major advantage: it avoids drilling, grinding and finishing operations, which saves a lot of time in production.

Vibration resistance

Acrylic foams are particularly suitable for mounting mechanical components as they tend to dampen vibrations and shocks.

Cut to size

These acrylic adhesives can be cut into pellets, sheets or any other shape to suit any application.
